First, I have to say thanks to Collin and Jeannie, for saving me a seat on the blogging bandwagon. They jumped on shortly before I did, and I was concerned that it would fill up completely. So I'm just happy that when I finally jumped on, there was a nice little comfy spot for me.
Next, I should say where the title 'DixonMania' came from. When I started working at the company that still signs my paychecks, my first manager was named Pedro. I worked for him for about a year. Now (almost 8 years later) everytime I see Pedro walking down a corridor or at the cafeteria, he says one thing to me: "DixonMania". (Note that this must be pronounced with a strong Mexican accent: deek' sone MAY' nya.) He never says anything else. Just "DixonMania". Don't know where he came up with this - he never said it when I actually worked for him. And I was never sure really what to do with it, until I found my seat on the blogging bandwagon.
Finally, I'm actually excited about this whole blogging thing. I've been inspired by numerous friends and family members who are simply bloggerific and I've loved catching up with what's going on in their families. I love the concept of blog-stalkers and can't wait to have a few of my own.
