A Thousand Words?
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Since I broke my camera on a scout campout a couple weeks ago, I've been thinking about that statement. In some cases, a picture may be worth more than a thousand words. I've told my mom at least a thousand words about our new house, but she's still asking for photos. On the other end of the spectrum, as cool as it would be, I'm pretty sure we'd choose to have the words of the Declaration of Independence over 1.4 photos of the Continental Congress (the Declaration is about 1400 words long). So, following this detailed and completely thorough analysis of the question, I've come to the conclusion that I want my camera back.

I loved this post! I think your point about the Declaration of Independence vs. photos of the Continental Congress was hilarious! Thanks! I really needed a good laugh!
